✨ About Our Candles
Q: What are your candles made of?
A: Every candle is hand-poured with a blend of 100% natural coconut soy wax, phthalate-free fragrances, natural crackling wooden wicks and lead-free cotton wicks. We keep things clean, ethical, and feminist, because patriarchy-free smells better.
Q: Are your candles vegan and cruelty-free?
A: Absolutely. No bees, no boys, no BS. 🕯️✨
Q: How long do your candles burn?
A: Our standard 9oz candles burn for about 40–50 hours when properly cared for (trim your wick to ¼" and let the wax melt evenly across the top before blowing it out).
💌 Orders & Shipping
Q: How long will it take to get my order?
A: All candles are made to order by hand, so please allow 3–7 business days for processing plus shipping time. We ship via USPS and you’ll receive tracking info once your order is on its way.
Q: Do you offer international shipping?
A: Not yet but it’s on the horizon! For now, we ship anywhere in the U.S.
Q: My order arrived damaged. What do I do?
A: So sorry that happened! Email burnthepatriarchycandleco@gmail.com with photos of the damage within 3 days of delivery, and we’ll make it right.
♻️ Sustainability
Q: What’s your approach to sustainability?
A: We use recyclable glass jars, biodegradable packing materials, and ship in reused or recyclable boxes whenever possible. You can also clean out and repurpose your candle jars (they make super cute planters or makeup brush holders).

Q: Can I order custom candles for an event or gift?
A: Yes! We love custom scent and label collabs for weddings, events, or businesses. Reach out through our Contact page with your ideas.
Q: Do you offer wholesale for shops?

🕯️ Candle Care Tips
Q: How do I make my candle last longer?
A:
- Always trim your wick before lighting.
- Let it burn long enough for a full melt pool (so the wax doesn’t tunnel).
- Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Keep away from drafts, pets, and patriarchy.

Q: How did Burn the Patriarchy Candle Co. start?
A: It all started during the pandemic.. me, my kitchen, and way too many empty jars. I grew up watching my mom throw candle parties (think Tupperware parties but with better vibes), so my love for scent runs deep. Pair that with my degree in Gender & Sexuality Studies and a lifelong commitment to dismantling the patriarchy, and voilà: Burn the Patriarchy Candle Co. was born.
